Brilliance - an OK cruise

Sail Date: November 07, 2015

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Balcony

Ship very clean. On board shopping limited and extremely cramped but some fairly good deals. Cozumel has little to see but lots of little shops for souvenirs and gifts; excursion to mainland necessary if you want to see ruins. As with most cruises, everything costs extra but overall it was what I expected and enjoyable. Evening shows and entertainment worthwhile.

Cabin / Stateroom Balcony view blocked below by life boats but nice to have an ocean view. Not sure if the additional price paid was worth the balcony on such a short cruise.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Embarkation wasn't difficult but disembarkation was extremely chaotic and unorganized. Not sure if cruise or port's issue
Ship Quality
Destinations and Excursions
Onboard Activities
Bingo is overpriced. Casino slots = a pit to drop your money into.
Children's Programs
Did not use.
Entertainment
Service and Staff
Food and Dining
Good but nothing spectacular. The cruise line wants you to pay extra for better meals in their specialty dining areas.
