Review summary
We had an amazing time on this cruise. It was my first and my girlfriend's second.
The Cabin
We had cabin 1012 which is in the middle of the hall between the bridge and the solarium above. It is a quiet hallway and the location was perfect within that row. Closer to the bridge and the bridge staff can if they so choose peer into your room. Same with the Solarium at the other end. We strongly recommend a balcony as it lets you just relax and enjoy the ocean and view anytime you want. Some of our best naps in a long time were had with the door open and the fresh air and roar of the ocean.
Our steward Iwan was amazing and took great care of us and the room.
Food
We did not use the Main dining room as it was all too formal for our tastes. We never did any of the specialties and only used the Windjammer and Room Service. The room service menu is pretty small and portions of some things are small but you can order as many as you want. Being able to order snakes and drinks any time of day was a nice treat. The Windjammer had good food. The menu didn't vary much but we always found things to eat.
We bought a Select Package for her which covered wine and beer and the Replenish package for me which covered water bottles and pop. This was a perfect combination for us. When they ask you what wine you want just show the card and ask for the ones included with this so you don't get surprises.
We were fortunate to catch a dress rehearsal for the new aerial troop that was starting on the ship. They did an amazing number in the Centrum. The ship started rocking later in the day and they could not do the aerial parts for the main show that night so we were glad to have caught the rehearsal.
All the staff we met were very friendly and attentive and the ship was well taken care of.

Ship tip
If you wake up and can't go back to sleep take a walk. You can check out all areas of the ship in peace with no passengers or crew around. Really get to take your time and explore
