Review summary
Cabin steward, waiter and busboy were outstanding. Couldn't say enough about their excellent service. The food was average. The soups in the buffet were terrible - everyday. The bar service was excellent in two of the bars - The Schooner and the Centrum, Deck 4. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother. The bartenders at the pool bars were not friendly. Breakfast in the Minstrel dinning room tasted as though it had been sitting in the kitchen for some time. Only went there for breakfast once. Otherwise we ate in the Windjammer for breakfast and lunch. They had a good variety of food and for the most part was very good - except the soups.
This was our eighth cruise and the food on the Carnival Breeze was exceptional. However, I think the service and cabins were a little better on this cruise versus the Carnival.

Ship tip
Great service and room amenities. Ship entertainment and the food was nothing to write home about. They were just average - not terrible, just average.
