Review summary

We had a good time and will look at Azamara again when looking at specific destinations. The longer port times allow for more time for on shore activities and is a nice feature. The pace of travel and back to back to back ports must be considered and is balanced with lack of options available on ship.

The veranda cabin is on the small side, the bathroom and shower very much so.

Ship tip

For those wanting a small ship, no lines and focused on the destinations this is fantastic. Those looking for variety on board will be frustrated.

Ports of call

Barcelona, Spain

We arrived 4 days early and spent a good bit of time exploring. Barcelona is a vibrant city with lots of places worthy of spending time at. Many fantastic places to eat off the beaten path.

The F1 race was the reason for this entire trip. The delays meant it was also all-encompassing for our shore time. Tendering to this port is an experience.
