Embarkation

5 out of 5
Even without pre-printed tags on our luggage, embarkation was quick and courteous.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We were so impressed with the (included) dining room, Discoveries, that we never made it to the specialty restaurants. The Windows Cafe and Patio Grill always had the right variety for the time of day, and we never felt bored or repetitive during our 7-day sail. The included beer, wine and liquor options were more than ample, and we made frequent use of the various bars across the ship. The Mosaic Cafe was a great addition for a morning capuccino, afternoon tea & biscuits, or alternate breakfast location.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We were very pleased with the onboard spa (we had a massage and nail services) and fitness center. We booked a custom photography session and Thais did a wonderful job helping us commemorate our anniversary.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We especially enjoyed the local flamenco show brought aboard for one night of local culture, and the AzAmazing evening (local children's choir concert in a gorgeous cathedral). The cover band was fun, and the House Band did a great jazz night. There was never a dull moment!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We were coming to Azamara from Seabourn, and were delighted to find the same level of customer service, attention to detail, and personable crew. When we had to contact Guest Relations about a delivery miscommunication, they exceeded what was required to remedy the situation and made sure we were satisfied.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Main areas were beautiful and reflected the recent renovations. It was easy to move with your mood: gravitating to certain common areas to watch World Cup games or dance, while going elsewhere for a quiet moment or romantic cocktail. Despite being a small ship, we never felt crowded.

Ship tip

Tell the restaurant hosts (especially on White Night) if you're up for sitting with new people. We met wonderful folks just by being some Introvert Help from the crew!
