Enjoyable but missed seeing Amalfi and Capri. Only 480 passengers onboard which surprised me but maybe because of the fowl up in the website. I think Azamara is losing customers because of it. Was nice that the ship wasn’t crowded and we could upgrade to a nicer cabin. This is our second Azamara cruise. Nice if you like smaller ships but I prefer larger because there are more options.
Embarkation

Went smooth but didn’t like having to take a 1/2 hour bus ride from Venice to Fusina where the ship was. A fair bit of walking.

Ship Quality

We upgraded to cabin 8019 when we checked in. Cabin was spacious and looked newly decorated. Ship seemed well maintained. Unfortunately the website is a debacle. Inexcusable in convenience and stress on your customers.
Cabin / Stateroom

Upgraded to 8019. Very nice, clean. Tetiana went out of her way to put 3 mattress pads on my bed because it was too hard. Also brought in an extra chair. Butler George made all our dinner reservations made us feel right at home. He was terrific.
Ship tip
Wait until the website is fixed before you book Azamara.
Because of rough seas we weren’t able to tender on the Amalfi Coast. Had to dock in Naples for 2 days instead. The reason we booked this cruise was for the Amalfi Coast and Capri. Weren’t able to see at all but took 2 bus trips to the coast. Very disappointing.
Yeah, the web site is frustrating. I understand that they had to sometime stop using RCL’s software – they were probably having to pay them for that. But here we are several months after the changeover, and they STILL don’t have the functionality that they used to have.
