There were plenty of castles and cathedrals to visit, but the everyday activities seemed to be the most interesting. These included a visit to a sheep farm and a famine village. The entire island is absolutely beautiful and very green. Worth the trip just to visit the outdoors.
Embarkation

We were met at the Airport by Azamara staff and quickly shuttled to the ship with other new passengers.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
the top deck buffet known as the Windows Restaurant had excellent food and helpful staff. Food was delicious and service was very good.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
We had a fitness instructor that was very good at Yoga and Pilates. Unfortunately there were only 3 classes for the 11 days we were there. There were two hot tubs that were always full.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
There were a few local Irish groups that were excellent. The onboard entertainment was good and provided a variety of talent.
Children's Programs
We did not bring children with us on this trip
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room steward Agga was great. He was always prompt, filled our refrigerator with the drinks of our choice and kept the room quite clean.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
All the common areas appeared to be well kept. The top deck is called "The Living Room". Each evening before dinner there was live entertainment as well as snacks and of course libations. Unfortunately there is no 10th floor public bathrooms. It was necessary to go downstairs to find one. ( 9th Floor)
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
The bathroom was so tiny, the two of us could not be in there at the same time. The closet space was limited as well. Everything eventually fit; which took some maneuvering.
Ship tip
Don't overbook yourself. Once you get on board you may want to spend the afternoon listening to a lecture or another event rather than go out on excursions.
