Of course we knew that there would not be a chance for many excursions, the ship's crew did their utmost to make the cruise enjoyable. Keep in mind, there is a LOT of water between New York City and Lisbon, Portugal.

The service from waiters and room stewards was definitely excellent. We enjoyed their company when we had a chance to chat with them. They are what made the cruise.

The ship is older but is well maintained.

There were three of us in the cabin so it did require a bit of adjustment but was always up to par as far as cleanliness.
Ship tip
Do not expect a lot of glitz but the choice of itineraries with a top-notch crew is the best.
The first day, we took a bus from Hamilton to the Dockyard no need to do an excursion. The second day we had a small train tour with time spent at BUEI - a worthwhile experience.
Definitely worth a stop with a good excursion although the stop at the pousada was not of interest - it could have been more interesting to spend a little more out on the island or could have gone on to Ponta Delgada an hour earlier if that could have been an option.
The excursion was definitely excellent but wish there could have been more time spent at this port. It had to be done in sort of a rush to see the main points in the excursion.
