Azamara was a fantastic choice for a cruise. Would highly recommend this cruise line and this itinerary in the Mediterranean Region was especially enjoyable. The weather was perfect and we hope to cruise again!
Embarkation

Embarkation went very smoothly. We were greeted with flutes of champagne and our cabin was ready at 1:30 after we dined at Windows Café overlooking the port of Barcelona

Food and Dining

The dining was creative and delicious. Each dish was garnished and it was apparent the pride that was placed in plating dishes. The cappuccino and latte were a perfect start to the day. The wine that was included was nice especially the Spanish white wine.

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Service was impeccable on the ship especially in the main dining room. I can not thank the staff enough for their attention to my food allergy. We would like to especially thank our wait staff Umit and Melvin and the Maitre de who greeted each evening by name. Our cabin was lovely and we appreciated the prompt service from our staff Josian and Joel.
Ship Quality

Perfect layout of ship, just the right size. Everything was clean and well maintained. The Italian linens in the room were lovely. We did notice some patio cushions showing wear and tear, and some paint chips here and there.
Cabin / Stateroom

Everything was perfectly appointed and very clean. The Italian linens were appreciated. I really appreciated the robe, slippers, toiletries, umbrella and binoculars. It would have been helpful if makeup remover wipes were included in the toiletries.
Walked around Marche aux Fleurs Cours Saleya in Old Nice in the morning, so many vendors with beautiful food, flowers, etc. Dined outdoors with a beautiful view. Took a bike tour of the Côte d'Azur along the Promenade des Anglais, saw the Hotel Negresco, Place Massena, Nice Old Town and Market and climbed up Chateau Hill
We went to Lucca and Pisa on first day in Tuscany. Lucca was great Tuscan hill town, we strolled the rampart and did a walking tour of the city. Delicious food. Made a stop by Pisa on the way back to the ship. Next day went to Volterra by rental car. This was a fantastic choice...Etruscan, Roman ruins, Medieval towers. Best food, pici with ragu and wine from Montepulicano with dessert of cantucci and Vin Santo.
