Short cruises are different to longer cruises, more parties which took over pool areas (seemed the casual night could have been themed as we had plenty of Hawaiian outfits.

Arrived with just my booking form, no problem given a green N card, got myself a coffee at the little bar area, not enough time to finish it before being called forward - passport, credit card handed over and a cruise card given back.....30 mins between arriving and boarding...just enough time to see all the hen/stag and birthday parties also on the cruise

Had 1st sitting table in the lower meridian restaurant, lovely people.
First night was casual dining with traditional British food, ordered a bottle of wine but just a glass was bought out.
Second night was formal dining with Marco Pierre White menu, one of the ladies had ordered a glass of red wine, but it came with a squished bug on the glass, the wine waiter tried decanting into a white wine glass, then into a red wine glass...but no replacing the spoiled wine.This was the only night we had after dinner mints

Restaurant staff seemed glum, (apart from when they queued by the entrance doors)
Originally booked a Garden tour but 24 hours before joining it was cancelled due to lack of numbers - would have preferred shore excursion desk help me find a way of getting there, but instead offered beach and countryside coach tour...very informative driver, beautiful scenery and plenty of time to see St. Peter's port independently
Advised packed bags should be outside 8.30pm..... I missed this due to first sitting, so bag outside at 10pm where it remained until 5am collection. Out of cabin for 8am, allocated a disembarkation time 9.45-10.45 from the Palladium, no staff there at 8, but two crew members arrived at 8.45 and said we were ahead of schedule, so disembarked early.
Bag waiting for me in the luggage hall, in deck order. Then straight out into the traffic queue as 4 ships were in port
