We like leaving from NJ to save on airfare. However, the cost of parking at the cruise terminal has gone way up,which is disappointing. It can be cold coming and going to and from NJ in March, but the solarium on the ship makes up for it. You feel like you are outside on a warm day. No water slides for children, but there’s bumper cars and other children activities

We had the best waiter and Asst Waiter. We have traveled with other cruise lines and our waiters were the best. And what other ship gives free lobster tails in the main dining room?
Onboard Activities

We went to relax and spent most of our time in the all weather solarium, which was beautiful. There’s even a restaurant in the solarium where you can have breakfast and lunch, with no crowds.
Entertainment

The stages shows were good. The Iconic Band in the Music Hall was very good, but the venue is small, and can’t accommodate everyone that wants to see the band.
Service and Staff

Our waiters and cabin attendants were the best we have had in a long time, on any cruise line.
Ship Quality

The ship was very clean and well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

We had an interior room with a virtual window. I didn’t think I would like the virtual window, but would highly recommend it. I asked for an additional mattress topper and was promptly given one.
Ship tip
you can ask for particular waiters (not guaranteed) for my time dining.
We love Coco Cay. Something for everyone and the last 2 times we were the only ship in port, which was wonderful. Beautiful ocean and pools. And the complimentary food is very good
Thanks for sharing your cruise experience and ship tip. Glad you had a relaxing cruise. Yes, the parking is expensive but we still save money by not flying and paying for a hotel room and meals the day before the cruise.
