Ship tip

Disappointed with the ports . Distance was to far from ship to towns. Ship was to big & very crowded. Left ship on 24 th June after negative test for covid. Arrived home & husband tested positive for covid. My advice would be to take your own lateral flow tests to check you haven’t picked up covid on ship.

Me and hubby were on the same cruise and I agree with most of your review. We were told the ship was at 75% capacity so I dread to think how busy it would be if full. Never enough sun beds and although I saw notices warning guests not to reserve this was still clearly happening. The promenade deck only has seating in the smoking area so this isn't an option if you want to sit outside somewhere quieter and our balcony was mostly in the shade because of the ship design. Best port for me was Le Havre but only because we took the train to Rouen (1 hour and 64 euros for 2 return tickets). It was stunning and well worth the trip.
