Review summary

Apart from the fact that you have to down as a family, the slightly restricted activities and the extra hygiene the lower amounts of guests meant that the experience was one like no other. The only negative that I have to say about the ship is that the shops were lacking. I struggled to get some basics as the shop was more geared to selling logo goods or expensive things with just a small cabinet for everyday items.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Miscommunication Bertrand port staff meant we were sent in the wrong direction, then to the wrong desk, leading to a delayed embarkation.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Fantastic service, as always. Unfortunately, due to Covid, we had to have a table to ourselves, which is a shame as I love the big tables where you get to meet people.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Simply because Covid restricted some activities, otherwise everything was fab.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Can't fault anything, the cruise staff are amazing!!! Especially Andy, Martin. Mo and Biddy, they really helped make the cruise special.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
Not much to engage my 15 year old, those kids all ended up doing their own thing most of the time. Shipboard facilities were great for them, but not the youth activities.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Can't fault

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very keen on cleanliness, although the only difference I notice from previous cruises was a more firm instance on washing your hands and the extra hand gel stations

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great size, loads of storage. Not much noise from the Concierge Club.

Ship tip

Select a cabin closer to midships

Ports of call

Southampton (London), England

3 out of 5
It's just a small city with all the basics

Belfast, Northern Ireland

4 out of 5
We did the Giants Causeway tour, recommend.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Straightforward and quick.

Agree with you, miss sitting with a large group at dinner. I like hearing about where everyone is from and meeting new friends. All in all, seems like you had a wonderful cruise.
