THIS WAS A VERY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE AND HAS MADE ME DECIDE TO NEVER CRUISE AGAIN. SHIPS ARE CROWDED, PEOPLE ARE PUSHY AND THE FOOD AND ENTERTAINMENT ARE JUST POOR. WE WASTED $3000 BUCKS FOR A WEEK OF GARBAGE FOOD, SICK PEOPLE COUGHING ON US AND WAITING FOR ELEVATORS. NEVER AGAIN!!

FOOD WAS GENERALLY POOR TO BAD. ONLY HAD ONE ACTUALLY GOOD MEAL. MY WIFE AND I LITERALLY LOST WEIGHT ON THE TRIP.

POOLS WERE PACKED. NO CHAIRS BECAUSE PEOPLE SAVED THEM AND THEM LEFT. ALMOST EVERY ACTIVITY WAS WALL TO WALL PEOPLE. THE SHIP IS SUPER CROWDED AND SUPER LOUD. YOU HAVE TO FIGHT YOU WAY INTO ANY ACTIVITY. VERY UNPLEASANT.

SPECTRA WAS VERY GOOD. MY GROUP WALKED OUT OF WE WILL ROCK YOU AND THE GIFT.

ROOM STEWARD WAS GOOD. THE WAITERS KEPT ORDERING FOOD FOR US THAT WE DID NOT WANT OR ASK FOR. IT WAS VERY ODD.

NEARLY EVERYTHING THERE IS TO DO ON THE SHIP IS SQUEEZED ON TWO FLOORS. IT IS JAM PACKED. ALMOST ALL ELEVATORS ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SHIP SO IT BOTTLE NECKS CROWDS OF PEOPLE.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

THE ISLAND IS CROWDED. YOU ARE LUCKY TO GET A VIEW OF THE CHAIR IN FRONT OF YOURS AT THE BEACH. THE SHIP BURNED TRASHED WHILE DOCKED AND THE FUMES SPREAD ACROSS THE BEACH. THE WATER PARK IS AN EYESORE AND IS EXTREMELY OVER PRICED. THIS WAS THE WORST DAY OF THE CRUSE.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion that's his, U might have a different one that's fine too. It took me about 20 years to go back on Royal Caribbean thank God it wasn't my first cruise because I would have hated cruises, I finally give Royal Caribbean another shot about 2 months ago on the Symphony of the sea it was better than the first time but it's still my lease Cruise Line thus far, it might change I'm going on the Anthem of the sea for New Year's then the Symphony of the sea in January I'll see how it goes. His opinion, your opinion, my opinion they all counts.

There's ALWAYS a miserable person somewhere! I've never had a bad experience on any RC cruises, but I'm a happy person... Anytime being fortunate enough to be on a cruise is a great time!!! One less of those crowds of people to deal with...BUH BYE! #LOYALTOROYAL

Based on the writer's remarks...I would suggest booking a cruise on a smaller ship that is rated as a luxury class cruise. Smaller number of passengers; higher class of services and amenities. However, be prepared to pay a higher cost!

Sorry to hear you did not enjoy your cruise. Sailed on Anthem in November and had an amazing time. The food in the main dining room was just as good as Chops. The staff were friendly and attentive. I guess for some it’s a hit or miss

I have cruised on The Anthem many times as well as numerous times on various ships with Royal Caribbean(large and small). We have always had a great experience. Accomadations, food staff and entertainment were also terrific. The only thing I will Agree with you on is the hoarding of chairs in the pool and other areas. If you don’t like crowds maybe you should try a Different smaller class of ship(but then you will no doubt find fault that there is not much to do). Cruising is probably not for you or you are just too picky. We are diamond members and would not be if we had Unpleasant experiences.

I’ve cruised on Anthem and had an absolutely amazing trip!! Never felt like it was “crowded” so much to do and friendly staff!!!!

The responses from fellow cruisers say it all. I got a good laugh out of the responses. Funny how so many people post about their amazing experiences and you made it sound like such a miserable experience. I absolutely love cruising and can’t wait for our next 2 cruises to get here. I really don’t think many people will share your opinion.

We were on the Anthem a couple months ago and our experience is so opposite of what you are saying. Cruising might not be the best way for you to vacation.

Yes, the ships are crowded. Yes the people at the ports are pushy. And yes the food is not ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. BUT you can have a good time, if you choose to. Don't like crowds do not go on another cruise, on any ship. Rent a private yacht.Rise early you will get all the pool chairs you want. Happy to know you won't cruise again.

Wow, I loved the Anthem. I wonder what happened. The only problem was the same as the original message was people save chairs for hours. My sister and I found 2 chairs with 4 that had towels on. We were there for 4 hours and no one ever came to sit on the chairs and it was getting towards supper time so the pool was alost empty. Yes there are some rude people on every ship on every cruise line.

Wow, we have been on 23 cruises and all 23 combined have never been as bad as your 1 cruise. The faithful cruisers want to thank you for Never Cruising again.

We loved the Anthem and every cruise we have been on. We are RC fans. We have never had a issue with over crowding or pushy people. I have recommended Royal to three other first time cruising families and they all enjoyed it and all are going again Sorry you didn't have the same experience.

You couldn't even find one good thing to say? Your ship tip isn't really a tip, since thousands will never entertain that idea. I for one love to cruise. I also understand that not everything will be perfect and you can't please everyone. Servers kept ordering food for you because they wanted you to be happy and have a good experience. Some people are afraid to send things back and ask for something else sho they often times do this as a courtesy. Unfortunately you couldn't see past your burning anger though. Trust me on this, the people you engaged with will also be happy you aren't going back. Have a nice day.

Definitely sounds like cruising is not for you. Traveling may not be for you either since you did not appear to be happy with much of anything. Sounds like it will be best for everyone if you do not cruise again, as you said.
