Our cruise experience was wonderful. The staff was great, helpful and professional at all times. The ship was clean and very well maintained. The decor was beautiful. Yes, I would cruise with Anthem of the Seas again. Great ship!!! 😃

We dined at the Chic main dining room. The decor was beautiful and cozy. The food was really good. We had breakfast and lunch at the Windjammer. Very nice and the food was delicious. With the amount of people sailing on this cruise the tables took long to be cleaned. Not enough staff to clean the tables with the high turnover rate. We did not utilize any of the specialty restaurants on our cruise. Overall, the food was great. I did get to eat at The Solarium Bistro once for lunch. I was turned off by the many whom entered this eatery and not wash their hands as this being a buffet style it should be mandatory as it was mandatory at the Windjammer.

There were so many activities to do on the Anthem Of The Seas. I utilized the fitness center, the whirlpools, the north star and enjoyed them all

The stage show “We Will Rock You” I didn’t enjoy it as much. It actually rocked me to sleep. The Caribbean, Jazz and Latin band musicians were awesome. Love love loved them the most. DJ Selby was great. I just think he needs to add different genres to capture everyone’s fancy. He played a lot of techno music which is ok but a bit much. The performers were all phenomenal. Their singing voices are definitely ringing Broadway.

Waiter Biplap (Chic) main dining room and Assistant Waiter Prathmesh (Chic and Windjammer) were both phenomenal. They were both very professional and fun at the same time. They both went above and beyond to make sure we had a great dining experience. Thank you both. My room steward Jacqueline was phenomenal. I was in stateroom #10523 Anthem of the Seas on 9/21/19 - 9/26/19. She made sure our beds were made, room cleaned, clean towels, wash rags, hand towels etc...it was refreshing entering my stateroom daily. She also went above and beyond her duties when my cousin took sick in stateroom #10519. Jacqueline made sure she was alright by checking in on my cousin while we were out enjoying the cruise. Jacqueline we appreciated you immensely.

Ship Quality

The ship’s layout and design was beautiful. Loved the decor throughout the ship. The common areas were clean and well maintained. I feel the smoking area by the main pool should not be shared amongst everyone. Having to pass that area to get to the forward end of the ship was stale and horrible to breathe in. Smokers should be designated at the rear of the ship where non smokers don’t have to breathe the same air.

Cabin / Stateroom

A little on the small side. The beds were not comfortable. Too hard. Overall the cabin itself was very clean, pretty and well maintained.

Ship tip

My advice to someone about to sail on Anthem of the Seas try the North Star. The ride on the North Star 300 ft. above sea level was spectacular. This actually made my cruise experience complete.
