We had just debarked a RCCL's sister ship prior to boarding the Anthem. We thought we were on a different cruise line. We adjusted to the situation. What really helped was the fantastic officers. Some of the problems were made worse to the crew not being trained properly. Once we found the correct person to explain the changes, the changes were great.

The security checkpoint in the terminal was the worse ever. Had to unload garmet bag, had no idea what a luggagescale is for. had to explain hangers in garmat bag. This was all in the Pinnacle line.

Drinks are very good & priced fairly. Food was eatable not as good as previous cruise.

Hot tub & pools were great. The poor rating is do to the cruise ship's theme parties. They were very lame.

Service and Staff

The officers were fantastic, very personable & were everywhere. Room steward was great, did her job very well. We ate most of our meals in Coastal Kitchen, staff was great. Some of the crew needed trained much better. In the Windjammer they need more people cleaning tables. At dinner & lunch times tables went 45 minutes uncleaned.
Ship Quality

The ships design is different than most RCCL ship's. That's not a problem just needs a little adjustment. Cleanliness was a little lacking.
Cabin / Stateroom

The room was fine. Had plenty of storage space. The cabin was kept very clean by Cindy(room attendant). We spent 3 weeks in the cabin & were very comfortable.
Ship tip
The main theater is in the front & the 270 lounge is in the aft. Message to the crew, yes the shil does have a Concierge Lounge. It's on deck 12 on the aft.
