Overall the staff made this a bad cruise. They treated guests as a dollar sign. Also security was never around. Kids (with bad parents) ran around and were always in places they should not be because security didn't enforce the rules. Unless this ship goes to a unique port that I am dying to go to I will not travel on this ship again. This is a shame because sailing out of New Jersey was a breeze.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Nothing special. The Windjammer always had the same items (no variety from night to night) and the main dining rooms scaled back their choices compared to other RC ships.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
I loved some of the unique features such as the Ifly (simulated sky dive), trapeze school, and bumper cars but the ship lacked other activites aimed at adults without kids.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The ship also had unique entertainment. We Will Rock You and Spectra's Caberat were awesome but The Gift was terrible.
Service and Staff
1 out of 5
My room attendant was awesome but the dining room staff and bar staff were terrible. As a single traveler I was always overlooked because the service staff were runnignt to get to big groups to score a bigger tip. I am Diamond Plus on RC and this was the first time I felt like a dollar sign on a RC cruise.
Ship Quality
2 out of 5
Although this is a big ship it feels more like a closed-in floating hotel than a cruise ship. It lacks the open spaces, granduer of the other large ships in its class on RC lines.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Although I was close to an elevator, the room was silent. I never heard anything in the hall, from the cabins next to me, or from the floor above me. If you decide to go on a cruise on Anthem, choose this room!
Ship tip
If you want something from the staff do not wait until the end of the cruise for extra gratuity. Bring extra dollars, they seem to only respond to tips right away.
Watch out for false advertisement for exxcursions before you travel! Online the cruise planner said tours for Disney and Universal Studios would have 7 hours of time in the parks, it is actually 5. The staff on board the ship were honest about it but the pre-booking deecsrioptions were not.
RC needs to stop trying to gpo here until the pier is completed. I had been on 6 cruises that were supposed to stop here and we only every got to disembark once!
