Overall, I enjoyed this cruise. The Anthem has a lot of different activities which I got to try out since we spent a good chunk of time cruising on the ship. Since I wasn't able to sign up/reserve everything in advance, I did end up spending more time than I would have liked on lining up for things.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Embarkation was very smooth and quick, staff were very friendly and helpful with some last minute changes we had with our accounts.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
I liked the food for the most part, there was a variety and the freshly grilled steak at the Windjammer was delicious. There was one morning when we ate at the Grande for breakfast where I was served a moldy tomato on my smoked salmon.
Onboard Activities

Loved, loved, loved the Indoor Skydiving! The North Star was cool, going up that high over the ship gave a great view of the ship and the surroundings. We also did the bumper cars, rockwall climbing, ballroom dancing lessons, Flowrider, and the chance to try the flying trapeze was fun.
Appreciated having the choice of indoor pools and the whirlpools were nice. The Solarium whirlpools were situated at the very front of the ship so it was a beautiful view.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The entertainment was amazing! Especially any of the shows in 270! We watched the Gift and We Will Rock You in the main theatre and Spectra's Cabaret and the fireworks in 270. Make sure you book your shows early so you can get in and get a good seat.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Carol, our room attendant was very nice and our waiters were fun. Guest services was very patient with our questions and helping us make reservations.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The ship was very clean, and beautiful, though this one felt crowded where as when I was on the Harmony, it never felt that way. I don't know if it was because of how the main shopping area was organized...
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The virtual balcony was a nice change, it allowed light into the room especially in the mornings so that it didn't feel quite so small. Overall, it was an ok size, there was ample storage space though the way the bed was positioned was a little weird. If the beds were configured together, you almost can only get on one side of the bed from the foot of the bed.
Ship tip
BOOK EVERYTHING ONLINE IF YOU CAN!!! Also, if you are going to do any of the activities, check your TV to see if there's a waiver that needs to be signed. It's so much faster to get everything signed on your TV instead of waiting at the activity to sign it.
We tendered over in small ferries which were very steady and the ride was very short. The island itself was nice, plenty of places to relax. The beaches were very rocky though, so make sure you wear water shoes! There were also jellyfishes in some areas, I'm not sure if this is a seasonal thing, but I would keep an eye out.
Did a self guided walking tour which was very nice. We didn't have to rush around and could take our time enjoying the scenery and history. We visited the Queen's Staircase which was not too hard a climb up. We also enjoyed a Conch Salad at Linda's Place. It was very tasty and there was so much conch meat!
