Review summary

Loved our New England cruise! We would love to sail with Anthem again. I hope very soon! The ship is beautiful and the crew was great. All onboard activities, entertainment and food were fantastic!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very quick for a big ship, on the boat from taxi to deck in 20 minutes.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Really great food with lots of variety from the Windjammer to the dining rooms.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Considering the weather was a little cooler, the hot tubs were relaxing, the pools were heated and the crowd was low so enjoyed them very much. Solarium was nice and warm. SeaPlex was fun with sport activities, bumper cars and roller skating. Unfortunately the IFly Ripcord was down and couldnt fly for our reservation. The NorthStar was reservation only so reserve quickly.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We loved the Two70 Lounge, those robots are very cool to watch, Spectra's Caberet was fantastic as well as You Will Rock in the Royal Theatre. Something to do everynight. I only wished there were more 3D movies available.

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
No children so cannot comment but looked like they had a great program.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Loren Aguiles in the Windjammer was so friendly. All staff and attendants do a phenomenal job. I cant thank them enough.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship is gorgeous. The best we have been on!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had the family size inside cabin. It was more of a square shape and loved it so much. The virtual balcony was just what we need to know what it looked like outside with the live streaming. Would love to stay in it again.

Ship tip

Make NorthStar reservations as soon as you get on ship. Get the punch cards for drinks, you save alot of money. There is a coffee, beer pint and mixed drink punch cards for a set low price. The beer buckets are a good deal too. Eat in the Windjammer early to avoid the breakfast crowd in the morning, it will be easier to get a table for two.

Peggy's Cove and Maritime Titanic museum and Titanic cemetery a must!! Take the excursion through Royal to make sure that you get back to the ship on time.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Quick exit from ship, took about 20 minutes to get off and through customs. for a big ship that is very quick!
