Review summary
Our cruise was wonderful. Excellent food, excellent staff, everyone tried hard to make our cruise fun and memorable. The cruise director, Dru, was just terrific; he had enthusiasm, a great sense of humor and tried hard to make everyone have a good time. One small nitpick, he tends to speed up his words as he wraps up an event and some coming attractions were a bit tough to understand. But he was as good as it gets for everything else. Dru is tops! The only other criticism was the show "The Gift." The singers and dancers were wonderful, totally professional and extremely talented. But for four-fifths of the show, you had no idea where you were in a difficult to follow story. One has to care about characters, and with little or no dialogue, and a score that really didn't advance the story welI, I had absolutely no idea what was going on. You needed about 10-15 sentences of dialogue at the beginning or in the middle for me to become immersed in the story. By the end, the characters did not resonate because I didn't care. A real shame because the performers were all excellent. Please, please get rid of the show and replace it with a better program. Heard complaints from others as well about being able to follow along with the story. Name That Tune was really well done. In conclusion, you had a difficult task in appealing to many, many people and you did it extremely well. Yes, I'd go back to this ship.

Ship tip
Small point, but on departure day, about four hours after we boarded ship, there were NO books in the library. Kind of disappointing. Saw books the following day. Books should be out when people board ship. Make reservations for dinners -- you'll be seated sooner.
