Review summary

The best part of our cruise was our cabin steward, Ashley .   He was Wonderful!  The ship seemed like it was very understaffed.  Usually bartenders are always available but not on this ship.  There were dirty dishes stacked up in plastic containers around the ship and paper towels always falling out on the floor where the hand washing sinks are.  We didn't know that Royal Caribbean was going to choose our dining room and time of dining so we missed our first dining room dinner.  The "Grande" dining room was very crowded, tables so close together.  Soda machines weren't working sometimes which was frustrating since we paid for the drink package .   Check-in was very fast and easy .  Cabin very clean and staff very friendly.  The ship rocked a lot for the sea being pretty calm.

Ashley-cabin steward excellent. Jo (female) in the dining room from South Africa was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. Guest Services not helpful with dining room reservation. Sent us to dining room to resolve issues then they sent us back to Guest Services then they sent us back to dining room. We told them at that point to forget it and stomped away.

Great job by Ashley!

Ship tip

Make sure to book reservations for dining before you board ship. We expected more from Royalty Caribbean.
