Review summary
Had concerns about being on a ship of 5000 passengers; however, once safety drill was over, it was as comfortable as a smaller ship. Liked the large choice of dining venues and food was good. There could have been a wider choice or rotation of menu items though. Some staff were very friendly and helpful, others not as passenger oriented. Our stateroom attendant was very good and sensitive to our needs.
As seasoned cruisers, we were not looking for many shore excursions, although the selection offered choices for all interests. The railway trip on St. Kitts was pleasant.
Beautiful ship and public spaces. Other than high end shops, there should have been more and better choices ( more reasonably priced) in the Port Merchants shop. The $10 sales should have been in a bigger venue to make browsing and selection less chaotic. Ended up avoiding going anywhere near sale even though I look forward to the sale. Internet was fairly priced and worked better than any ship I have ever been on! Ship's goal is to be a paperless ship and the iPad terminals, as well as app, were user friendly and made it easy to make reservations. More info regarding the port (other than recommended, or guaranteed shopping) should have been provided.
