You should look now with the Black Friday sales. I just booked lunch at Chops and Giovanni for my June cruises- lunch at chops was $12.99- can’t buy a 8 ounce Filet with appetizers and desert anywhere for that price. I ate at Chops for lunch on the Anthem and it was delicious. I try to book the last day at sea for lunch as I noticed the menu in the MDR on the last night is usually not appealing to me.

We just did Jamie's for lunch on the 11/5 sailing, it was amazing!!! Food and service. Ashvin was our server. Also, A taste of royal was really good too. but hard to find on the app. its there, but not under dining.

If you download the app or go online and log in to your cruise you should be able to purchase and reserve times well in advance. We have 3 cruises booked and the dining is available for my Jan and September 24 sailings now. I can’t say if it is worth it as I’ve never done the specialty restaurants on royal
