Worst ever cruising by Cruiser69987989

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Although I didn’t pay too much for the balcony cabin. Buy my experience towards Royal Caribbean had dropped to the bottom and I don’t think I’ll cruise with them anymore! I’m a platinum member almost in diamond but I don’t think I’m going to reach to that level at all! The overall quality were terrible and most disappointed in food, entertainment and kids activities! And the itinerary were not good! In the way back from Cosmos the ship were not smooth and it was very rough that most people were feeling sea sick! Even after few days later. I still can’t stand properly on the ground. Feeling dizzy and uncomfortable! My daughter had this problem even a week later. She also is a platinum member! What more can I say about this cruise? I’ll go with other cruise line from now on!

The trip was cool but next Royal Caribbean needs to let people know they are doing construction on the ship as people make reservations. We should’ve been given the opportunity to choose whether or not we wanted to be on a ship under construction. by cajackson123

The construction my last night sounded like something coming thru the walls. THE CREW AND STAFF WERE AMAZING. Royal needs to take the ship out of commission to complete the upgrades.

Amazing sailing experience!! by fggoris

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

My overall experience was amazing. the ports we visited were all (no exception) great spots. Nothing bad to say about the cruise and their staff, which were all super friendly and helpful. My only complain would be the staterooms. Based on past cruise experiences, having the extra bed as bunks is a lot more efficient than side by side. rooms are small as it is, and once sofa bed is open, there's practically zero moving space.

Disappointed in Royal Caribbean Cruise by cdkorlando

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Overall this was not a good cruise. The overcrowding made the cruise very unpleasant. I was at guest services 4 times for negative reasons on this cruise whereas I had never been to the guest service desk on any other cruise.

Our worst experience with Royal Caribbean by lorianddavid

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Not our best experience with Royal Caribbean. Solarium was closed for 4 days leaving the pool and its 2 hot tubs and bistro also closed, Beach pool, 2 hot tubs, cantilever hot tub were also closed for the entire cruise. No apologies or compensation were offered for having a completely booked ship but not informing anyone that major venues would be closed.

Wonderful family vacation. However, I question the RCCL business decision to book nearly 6,000 passengers on a sailing that had the solarium closed until Wednesday and one of the other adult swimming pools closed the entire cruise. by fuegner

Enjoyed the cruise very much. In spite of the poor business decision on the part of RCCL to book nearly 6,000 passengers with the Solarium closed until Wednesday and one of the other adult pools closed entire sailing and the poor condition of the cabins, the staff and crew did a great job.

Friendly Staffs by hilarycn

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)

Nice ship but boring location those Caribbean island are really nothing can visit. We end up only stay at cruise to enjoy all kind of actives. But the Spa package is too expensive and not worth for such small facility.

Great Ship, Renovations Needed by InteChris

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Overall, Allure was a great ship and the staff were all friendly. Service was quick, but it would be nice seeing more added onboard. A waterslide, updated entertainment options, refreshed cabins, are some missing features

Too big of ship for us by kirkkiml

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Too big of ship and too many people for us. The ship is good over all and has alot of things to do. Food didn't seem as good, maybe because of the amount of people.

Allure by chrissteeger

Overall great cruise. Food quality and taste in main dinning has gone downhill. Drink pours are small and seem to be watered down.

Not the same by tinadayhaw

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Perhaps it's just me, but I prefer a smaller ship to these mega cities. So much that used to be free and inclusive is now costly. Too many high end shops, need more cost effective choices. Too many $$$ resturants. Why not more inclusive ones? Not the experience I want again.

Great ship, great food. Terrible organization to get in Main dining and buffet by judypair

Loved the ship. I've been on many cruises and have never experienced these issues with dining. Will make me think twice before cruising Royal Caribbean again.

Beautiful Ship, Great for a Family by vinceneil89

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Allure of the Seas is a beautiful ship and although she's large, we never felt like we were walking miles at a time. It never felt too crowded, the size of the ship was enough to keep the masses spread out. Elevators got crowded during meal times, and port days, but otherwise were easily accessible. Our 10yr old and 3yr old loved it as much as we did. There's definitely something to be said for Oasis Class ships paving the way.

We enjoyed being on this large ship! There was so much to do. The staff was very friendly, the food was delicious. I would certainly consider booking on this ship another time.
