Wonderful cruise. by leemar4000

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Easy to get around the ship. The parties on the Promenade are lots of fun. Better to reserve the shows you want to attend, but they are easy to get in even if you have not made a reservation.

Getting more like Carnival every day. by damborino

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Now I know I prefer smaller ships. I like the ocean experience, and this is not it.

Although we really prefer the smaller ships, this was a very pleasant and relaxing cruise on this beautiful ship.

Did Not Disappoint!! by rantxs

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Have only been on one cruise 20 years ago. I was traveling solo. I met many wonderful people, never felt overwhelmed by the size of the ship, and always had something fun to do if I wanted to. Lots of opportunities to just relax by the pool.

Surprisingly not as crowded as you would think by wrktx

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

As longtime small ship cruisers we were worried about size. It really didn't rise to our level of concern. Most things were done smoothly. Also the onboard internet package gave decent connection, a surprise:)

superior cruise for Galveston by tamieubank

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Pros: e-Muster was fast and so much better than sitting around waiting on everyone else Boardwalk area was really neat Upper Central Park outdoor area Diamond benefits are better than the other cruise line's perks No loud stateroom or hallway announcements Clock in stateroom No obnoxious singing & dancing in the MDR at dinner by waitstaff Cons: buffet was tight & hard to navigate with so many people Up charge for specialty dining is too high Pub doesn’t sell food Line at WipeOut Cafe always long but food was great Royal App is convoluted & hard to find what I want (charges weren’t accurate) Stateroom gets over heated even with drapes closed all day; windows need better UV protection Mattresses are too hard

Wonderful entertaining cruise. by brianmeng84

We have a wonderful time and great entertainment. It would be more valuable if the ship has self laundry and iron.

Absolutely One of The Best Cruises I've Taken by luvtocruise2016

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Overall, this was a very special and fun filled adventure. The New Year's Eve experience was phenomenal. The crowd was a very international one. No drama just overall pleasant fun for everyone on the ship. It is a huge ship and we never once noticed that we were even on the ocean. In closing, I highly recommend the Allure of The Seas or any of the Oasis class ships.

My only disappointment was the gratuity was not included in the booking price. We will not book through again.

Service was great, food has gone downhill and almost all shows cancelled by amy29760909

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was a very expensive trip and did not live up to the price. I might sail the Allure again, but wouldn't pay more than half of what we did for this cruise. We are not picky people but when he food is almost not palatable and you have to ask over and over for simple items for your suite, it's frustrating. Carnival has better food and the Carnival Vista is a better ship IMO.

Not like it used to be by annettemcp

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Expensive as it was a holiday cruise and I didn’t feel It was worth it. Did not get to see a good show (one of my favorite parts of a cruise) and the food was ok but it used to be a better quality. Maybe the specialty restaurants (which are not included) had better quality, but then, why would I pay for a cruise in which I have to pay extra for the cruise. I personally think an all inclusive resort would have given me more for my money. Also, the staff would benefit from some training as the tips are already withdrawn from your credit card and they were not as cordial as they used to be. Some are even rude.

Huge ship!!! Disappointed that some of the shows were cancelled and also didn't know you had to have reservations to them. by jennylee55

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The ship was to big for me and too many people. Did not like the fact that you had to have reservations to see a show and the main show was cancelled due to illness.

Poor trip by Firespaz67

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We were suppose to have two $75 credits for our main two rooms. We had put all of our charges on one room during the week. We asked 2x that they apply the second room onto the first and both desk people said they would and it never happened. Got off the ship and saw the final bill and it was never applied. These people will tell you one thing to your face and then it never happens. Never sale with them again.
