For us, it was not a perfect day at Coco Cay. It was disappointing. Way too many people. Couldn't find a good place to sit in the shade. Only stayed about an hour, after which we returned to the ship.

Did not go to the main dining rooms. The lines were always super long. We went to the Solarium Bistro for breakfast and the Windjammer Marketplace for lunch, which were buffet style and had a good selection of options. The service staff was great everywhere. Very pleasant and friendly.

Did not participate in the activities. The pools were too crowded for me. No lounge chairs available when I wanted to go.

Enjoyed the live music, particularly the horns and the jazz ensemble playing in Central Park and Dazzles

The waiters at Johnny Rockets, Sabor, 150 Central Park and Giovanni's Table were all excellent. Helpful and friendly.

Room was a comfortable size. The bed was pretty comfortable as well. The pillows were a bit too thick for me.
Ship tip
I enjoyed sitting in Central Park and listening to the live music in the evenings.
Did not enjoy. Could not find one chair to sit in the shade. We found one Adirondack chair which we moved to be able to sit in the shade, and we were told we could not do that. What is the umbrella for, if we can't take advantage of the shade it provides? Both my husband and I have health issues and cannot sit in the sun or stand for long periods of time. We went back to the ship. Very disappointing.
