My experience I would rate Allure of the Seas 7/10. It wasn’t the best, and it was far from the worse. I expected more from Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Overall no complaints about embarkation
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The wait staff on the cruise 10/10 (AYU and Orlando) always provided top of the line service. The food experience was mediocre. The taste of the food was bland and mediocre at best.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
The kids enjoyed rock-climbing and the mini zip-line. As for on-board activities for kids compared to other Royal Caribbean ships was terrible. Most of the arcade games were broken in the larger arcade area. Also, the machine to check the kids arcade balance was also broken/down. There was no way of knowing how much of their arcade credit was used, which caused charges to your card that was on file. The other ships had activities for kids in the sports arena (laser-tag, bumper cars just to name a few. Allure of the seas had basketball geared towards the teen population (12-17) nothing for the younger basketball players.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
The Aquamarine show was cool. That’s about the only show for entertainment.
Children's Programs
3 out of 5
My kids were bored no excitement at all.!
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Service was a 10/10 no complaints. Thanks (Orlando & Ayu).
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
No complaints well maintained
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
No complaints. Cabin size was expected for the ocean view room.
Ship tip
If the cruise is for kids check for activities ahead of time to see what the ship offers. Again other ships had laser-tag, bumper cars for kids.
Fake review. Nothing is bad about the Allure. The Aquashow was the only show they had? What about Mama Mia and ice show. Both fantastic. You should have researched the ship more if you were interested in things for kids. Next time go on Carnival, but like I said, probably a fake review.
