Review summary

This cruise itinerary is very short bur a great get away for the grand children at the end of the school year.

Embarkation

1 out of 5
Port Canaveral was ill prepared for 6, 000 passengers on Allure. A huge traffic jam getting into the port, luggage drop off, and parking. Arrived at the port at 12:15, parked at 1:15 and boarded the ship at 2:15.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Used the main dining room all three nights. Food was okay until the last night of the cruise. Selections were limited and quite frankly the food was not good.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We had grand children traveling with us and they really enjoyed all the teen activities on board.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Mamma Mia is the production show and the performers do a great job. However, a 2 1/2 hour show is difficult to fit in on a three day cruise. We attended a 5 PM show and had to leave at intermission to catch dinner.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Great teen program.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship is showing its age in a couple of spots but overall is good.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
the stateroom was good

Ship tip

Make reservations for shows, dining, etc before you set sail.
