Review summary

Very nice for a short (4 days) cruise. Would recommend this cruise for anyone trying out Royal Caribbean for the first time or for just wanting to get away for a quick cruise. We chose this cruise because it was a quick four (4) days.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship is a little older and could use some updating, however, everything was in working order and well maintained.

5 out of 5
The cabin was just great. We were able to watch the aqua show from our balcony. Perfect place to see everything.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida Did not visit port

This is the embarkation port, and as we lived in Orlando we have visited Port Canaveral many times.

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
Did not venture past the port area because of potential violence in Nassau. Otherwise, the port area was okay.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas Did not visit port

We have been to CoCo Cay many other times and as it was very windy and rainy we decided to stay on the ship and relax.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Super smooth, no issues and very organized.

The Oasis class of ships which Allure is part of have much to offer but usually are overcrowded. Overall Allure is a wonderful ship as long you don’t mind crowds.

The Allure is a huge beautiful ship. Hope on such a short cruise you were able to see most. We were on the 11th deck, Boardwalk Balcony, and were able to see the Aqua show also but couldn’t really hear it but went down to it in person. Did you go o on the Riding Tide Bar? It’s on deck 5 and takes you to deck 8, Central Park. You don’t need to buy a drink to ride it. Central Park is absolutely beautiful. Greenery , trees, flowers everywhere like your outdoors. The specialty restaurants are all there also. Loved the Allure. Probably our favorite cruise out of the 10 we’ve been on and loved all of them.

I just went on a land destination to Nassau this past January, as I did not feel any threat in the area. Heck more violence is in the USA..makes one think where is all this is coming from🤔 but that's your opinion as you have a right to. The ALLURE is a beautiful ship, yes hopefully in the future RCCL will complete some updates to the ship. HAPPY SAILING ⛵️

I never felt safe in Nassau even before the current violence. I might like to try the new port area though. Glad you enjoyed the onboard activities on the Allure. No need to get off the ship, is there?
