Review summary

Overall this Royal Caribbean Allure was wonderful. Great energy. The Superbowl was a hit. Beautiful ship. Well kept and clean. Very spacious. With 6000 people aboard you never felt crowded.

Embarkation

For the amount of people that was on that particular cruise, embarking was literally faster and easier than any cruise line I've ever experienced.

Ship experiences

They were wonderful

Onboard Activities

I really enjoyed the diving show. Those guys were incredible. I also had fun watching the superbowl on the ship. That was a first and it was awesome.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
I forgot the name of the reggae band from Jamaica but they were really good. Everyone enjoyed them. As far as the DJ is concern. This is 2024. Hip Hop music is used to market every single event when it comes to entertainment. but yet I found it interesting in the clubs and even at Coco Cay the DJ's played very minimum hip hop music which did not play well with the crowd. Many people were upset with the their selection. Many found it to be some form of population control to weed out the African American population which I hope wasn't the case. It was just interesting how much how music was played in comparison as well as Latin music.

Children's Programs

No kids

Service and Staff

The service was wonderful all through the ship. Very friendly and accommodating especially Asgelu (Ash) from Turkey who worked at the Windjammer. She was awesome.

Ship Quality

Nice

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Room was nice and pretty good spacing. Comfortable bed. The doors between cabins are a bit close which made entering your cabin while someone was trying to enter there's a bit awkward. Also, need more plugs by the bed to charge phones.

Ship tip

Royal Caribbean has a way of nickel and diming you for almost everything if you want something extra. Unlive Virgin Voyages where the price meets the expectation. Royal tends to operate like a cheapskate.
