The only problem I had was the volume of the music in the dining room "celebrations". The music during dining should be 20% louder, not 300% louder.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
As fast as it could be, considering the size of the crowd.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The food in the dining room was excellent. The food in the Windjammer was also good, except for the steaks, which were poor cuts of meat.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The onboard activities were exactly what you expect. The teen club had fewer organized activities than usual.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The ice show was amazing. The water show was impossible to book. The live music was good.
Children's Programs
4 out of 5
The teen club on Royal Caribbean normally has more organized actiities.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
The service was excellent. I have a problem when they crank up to music to deafining levels on the last night of the cruise and make the waiters dance. The dancing is fine, but the music was way, way, way too loud.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The ship was beautiful and very clean. The pool is still a problem, because they let people check out a towel and then reserve a deck chair all day. There are never any deck chairs available. Also, again with the music, the staff needs to understand what is a reasonable volume and what is not. We finally found a deck chair the last day, but had to leave after a few seconds because the music was at a painful volume.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
The rooms are not laid out perfectly, as the closet is mostly blocked in by one side of the bed. But the size of the room is good, and the view was excellent.
Ship tip
I have found that I like floor 6 and 7, because you can get to and from the shows on the stairs instead of taking the elevators.
Glad you enjoyed most of the cruise. We were on the Allure in November 2019, before the start of Covid. Loved the ship and Every thing about it. Food was delicious, especially in MDR and Park Cafe had the best salads and Prime rib sandwiches, besides lots of other things. The shows were wonderful. Mama Mia, fantastic ice show and very good Aqua show. Great ports although the last port we had drizzly weather and didn't get to go there , Coco Cay. Overall, an excellent cruise? BTW, they are decks, not floors. Lol
