Great shows but too big a ship to go again. Adult area is too small for the large number of people.

Review summary

We will never again cruise on a ship this big. We rather spend more money and get a relaxing and fun cruise aiming to please adults instead of families with children.

Consider a smaller ship.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

5 out of 5
Beautiful new area. We didn’t take any excursions.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

3 out of 5
Too crowded when another cruise line is on port.

Cozumel, Mexico

3 out of 5
Nice stores but once again it was very crowded with two other cruise lines on port.

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
Exiting passengers and incoming passengers using same area. It took almost one hour for being picked up because of the heavy traffic. Cars parked for over 30 minutes just waiting for people. Very frustrating and disappointing,

Why does it say your cruise is May 7, 2023? You should still be on the ship.🤷

I loved Allure. I love the big ships. Less old smelly people with wheelchairs and canes slowing everything down and getting in the way. Maybe I just prefer more youthful people.

We loved the Allure. I love all the activities. And the adult pool area. But I prefer the larger ships feels less congested and crowded

Thanks for sharing your cruise experience. Sorry it didn’t meet all your expectations but with so many cruise ships to choose from, you’ll find one or more that you will love.

The only time I sailed on a big ship was during the restart when ships were at 35% capacity. I prefer smaller ships. Even the Infinity was more enjoyable than Equinox (although the Equinox was more modern and had more dining).

I agree, there are just too many people. Our next ship will be Holland America. We are going to see if it is quieter by not having the water slides , Go-Karts, bumper cars, etc. There will be kids, just a few less people say.

Thanks for sharing. Sometimes the smaller ships do have less children and are generally more quiet.

Appreciate your feedback. Often a more intimate setting is a better choice. Sorry you were disappointed.
