It’s been one of my negatives for Royal for sure! I have to pack so much because I prefer to wash the clothes myself. Next cruise I’m going to give the laundry service a try I guess.

I usually cruise on Princess Cruise line. They have a self serve laundry room on each floor. There are ironing boards & irons in the laundry rooms for passenger use.

On the Royal Caribbean ships there is no laundry room. You can wash items in your cabin sink & hang them on the clothes line in the shower. The other option is to fill a small laundry bag they provide & send it out for them to wash your clothes. There is a fee involved.

Irons are considered fire hazards and not allowed on Royal ships. You can bring along Wrinkle-release spray, though.
