Beautiful ship. Great, helpful and happy personnel work this ship. They were very excited to be back to cruising and it showed. Delicious food in all of the restaurants, great service with a smile.
Only downfall, we came home infected with COVID. Don't understand how it happens when everyone has gotten on with negative test results. Wish Royal Caribbean had an answer to this problem.

Dined in MDR Deck 3 Anytime Dining. Service was excellent, and food was delicious and plentiful. Dined at Samba Grill, awesome experience, food was scrumptious Dined at Sabor's, another great experience, food was delicious! The staff at all of the restaurants, including the Windjammer, went above and beyond to make sure everything was to your liking and couldn't have been more delighted to have us on board.
Onboard Activities

Solarium pool was ridiculously too small, and the people drinking decided to spend the whole afternoon in it. And that was the same for the main pools, way to small and yes, the water was murky from everyone's sunscreen coming off in the water. If I had to pick the main problem with this ship, it would be the size of the pool areas.
On the flip side, our grandchildren (ages 11-18) had plenty to do to keep busy and happy.

Mamma Mia was amazing!! The OceanAria in the Aqua Theater was phenomenal!! The talent and expertise of the performers was perfection! Never seen anything that comes close in our 20 years of cruising!
Service and Staff

Excellent service from everyone on board. Our room steward, Janno; MDR head waiter, EJ; MDR waiter, Willford and his assistant, Marde. And all our room service waiters, Guest Relations personnel, sales personnel, I hope I am not leaving anyone out! It was very obvious from everyone that we interacted with that they were very happy to be back onboard sailing again.

Everything was spotless. Layout needs some tweaking, but I think the Allure is due for an upgrade of some sort, because of COVID they weren't able to do the work.
Cabin / Stateroom

Comfortable balcony room. Nice size balcony. Our room steward, Janno, was very professional and personable, always greeting us with a smile! He kept everything spotless! He knew everything we needed even before we asked for it.
Ship tip
Wear a mask whenever possible. Even though we loved our cruise, we sadly came home infected with COVID. Not sure we will cruise again unless this virus goes away.
Royal Caribbean needs to do a better job with this port. Sad, kind of stepchild to CoCo Cay. Need to invest some money in the infrastructure and make it more upscale.
Arranged our own catamaran snorkeling trip with Octopus Aruba. Great company with beautiful boat and a great crew....outstanding snorkeling spots! Shopping not so impressed. Arranged our own transportation using Aruba's public buses, great way to get around!
Did not do an excursion. Walked downtown to the Dushi neighborhood of Willemstad. Beautiful buildings and fantastic shopping. Very friendly shop owners. Took a local taxi to Mambo Beach, most reviews of the beach said it was very crowded, but we did not find that it was too terribly crowded. If you are looking for a deserted beach, this is not for you. But, there were plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas to rent. And the water was beautiful blue/green color and clear as glass!
