Review summary

The staff at RCCL always go above and beyond to make the cruise experience enjoyable. My only complaints were with the MDR front end never seeming to know where to seat us. They also seemed in panic mode trying to get us to our seats asap. The beverage package is not worth it because there are no bottle water/soda stations separate from the bars. Even getting tea at night was a hassle. I look forward to seeing how the Allure looks after its amplification.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Long disorganized lines out front waiting for the doors to open. Once the doors opened the lines moved quickly. Remember to have all of you documents ready, passport, Covid - results and Sea Pass. They check for them several times.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Windjammer was by far the best place to eat. I've never been one for the buffet however the MDR was disorganized and the menu choices were so-so. 1st and last time that I will get the beverage package, I had to wait in the long bar lines just to get bottled water or soda. Yet they have mobile carts pool side with beer.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
There was plenty of fun stuff to do.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Ice, Aqua, Mama Mia and comedian shows were fantastic.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Other than needing a few more bartenders at the busier bars the service was wonderful. Our MDR servers of Leny & Juan were exceptional. We were slightly disappointed that the 6 of us didn't get to sit at their station every night even though we asked. The front of the house seemed disorganized and had us dining on all 3 floors of the MDR. We were even left standing in the middle if the dining area one night while they figured out where to sit us. We felt bad for the diners around us.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

Not much wiggle room but it did the job. The bed was comfie and there wasn't any noise keeping us awake.

Ship tip

Reserve the shows as soon as you board and have fun!

Cozumel, Mexico

We enjoyed our day at Paradise Beach Club. Paid to get on the beach and alcarte drinks & food. Favorite port of the trip.

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

We walked around Los Alos Blvd and was pleasantly surprised at how chill it was there. The beach was very clean and everyone seemed friendly.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

The island was so impoverished and depressed. Pretty sure that I wont visit there again.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
There was not much delay in getting off the ship.
