Review summary

Yearly Fibromyalgia Cruise with a fun group of people on a beautiful ship. The entertainment was great but the quality & selection of food has deteriorated. Masks were worn in certain areas as required. Our Jr. Suite was perfect!

Recent cruise on Holland American Koningsdam, and have the same experience with the food being cheap. Steak dishes made with low quality ingredients. Lobster night is now rubber night. Crew managers not focused on customers more on cost cutting. Many of the staff complain of having their wages cut without being consulted. No my problem or job being the word of the day for many of the newer managers. Five Star Member with no plans to travel with them in the future.

I was on Allure the week before you and we had very few complaints about the food. We did have a different sort of cruise than usual, spending much more time in the hot tub, pool, reading, or napping during the day. LOVED Mama Mia, never got to see Oceanaria due to weather and/or diver support injury. We were on Harmony the week after. By comparison, Allure is the better ship in our opinion. Better food, better crew, better entertainment, better drinks, better solarium. Harmony was really showing her age.
