Review summary

Since I have sailed on the Oasis, I knew what to expect, but after almost 2 years, I had forgotten how big these ships are. There is no way you will do or see everything during a 7 day cruise. I tried and failed to leave any time for just plain relaxation. Not that I did not enjoy my stay, but never made it to that hot tub I was looking forward to. It is like staying downtown in an active city, you won't see it all in a week. On top of it, this city moves. Unless you skip the ports, it is hard to get everything done. Even getting up early it seems like you are always getting ready for the next meal!

All of the dining experiences on the ship were excellent. If I had it to do over again I would likely skip the one specialty restaurant I ate at.

Other than the jogging track, I did not use any of the facilities on this ship.

The shows were great. The Mama Mia production was one of the best I have seen on a ship.

The ship was extremely clean. I never felt that my health was in jeopardy by being aboard. The ship was just SO BIG.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabins are nice, but for such a large ship, not overly large. With only one closet, storage was a challenge.

Ship tip

Don't try to do every activity offered, you will be frustrated.

I really enjoyed the trip to the Maho beach near the airport, not to be missed. Used the local bus and traveled like a native. Saved a bunch too.

Shopping is not great unless you are looking for jewelry. Stores are very pushy. Guess they are hungry after having no cruisers for over a year.
