Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was good little samey after so long on board. Sorrentos should be kept at a faster pace.

Chop's Grille

3 out of 5

Appetisers didn’t have great variety but the pork belly was ok.Rib eye was great. Sides could be better, mash was good, chips were meh, mac and cheese I’ve had better canned.Desserts were same as MDR.

Giovanni's Table

2 out of 5

No real Italian options on menu. Carbonara does not have a poached egg on top. Starters weren’t great, my steak was ok, bread was disgusting. Would have been nice to have been offered butter. Would not recommend. Pasta options in windjammer are better.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The comedians, Jim David(Davies?) and Kivi Rodgers we’re beyond hilarious. The aqua show was good does not need a plot however that’s what let it down. Mamma Mia was overacted beyond belief. The woman playing Rosie just essentially done a Julie Walters impression. Left half way through. Rest of entertainment wasn’t to our taste.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room attendant Robert was fantastic even with dealing with all of our mess. Our waiters (no reserved table but sat in the same area for most nights) Bayyr and Felix were great too!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Sailed during the coronavirus pandemic on the transatlantic. Ship was beyond spotless staff always cleaning.

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
Not very well designed. Especially when beds being used as twin beds:

Ship tip

Don’t bother with the speciality dining unless you have a really good deal. Don’t expect anywhere quiet to sit at night. Use room service on port days saves so much time.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

5 out of 5
Only spent the night there. Don’t recommend the red carpet inn as somewhere to stay though.

Malaga, Spain

5 out of 5
Fantastic city. Don’t bother with any tours just grab the ship boat to the city centre and explore. So much to see and do it’s best to do it at your own pace. Just watch the traffic.

Barcelona, Spain

5 out of 5
Amazing city. So much to see and do. Camp Nou, Sagreda Familia, shops, friendly locals. Highly recommend some Fanta Naranja in Spain far superior to the American stuff and British stuff.

I would love to do a Transatlantic but Disney’s are a full two weeks which is hard to pull off with work. We are huge sea days people though. I love getting up whenever, working out, sunning, reading, and watching movies. Sounds about perfect.

I would like to try it one tut time. What I don't like is the plane ride home.

Yea, that is a lot of straight days at sea. We did a transatlantic cruise with Norwegian in 2018. It was 14 days, but broken up with 6 stops at ports. We enjoyed it. 😊

Wouldn't you know you had that many days at sea before you left??? I would not do one because of the length of time on board.

10 days at sea would be to much to bear unless your in the navy and use to it.
