Review summary

We did a family cruise. There were 12 of us total, kids and adults. We wanted a ship that all of us could enjoy and Allure delivered. My husband and I are normally smaller board people, but Allure was the right choice for this group. It was also nice having a pool our daughter in swim diapers could enjoy.

Embarkation

We never even sat down, just walked right in the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Excellent buffet, being vegetarian, we were more limited in the MDR. We were also disappointed that we were not sat together, just near each other. We did have a hard time finding seating in the buffet for our group.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
So many things to do, never a bored moment

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Love the water show

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Polite, did their jobs

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Huge, so much to do. Each neighborhood separated people so the ship didn’t feel too crowded. Everything was always clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

We loved the extra space our room had. With the front facing window, the room angled down and created an excellent play area for our 11m old daughter.

Ship tip

Hardly feels like you’re at sea

Ports of call

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

We did a tree walk excursion and then took a taxi to see the iguanas. It was our second time in Roatan, and we love to see the iguana farm.
