Review summary

The ship is amazing! I cannot believe how this thing is floating and you feel nothing! Amazing feat of engineering for sure. Too many people for me though. Too short as well - a week-long cruise is too short for me. But great job by the ship staff. Good memories on Royal Caribbean.

Caribbean food was great! Steaks were made to perfection. Drink stations around the ship were cool. A few were out of order but we managed.

A lot of activities for those who were interested. The running/walking track was good.

Entertainment

Caribbean Band and High C's were superb. Not enough opportunities to see the Comedy or Aqua show despite them doing 4-5 shows.

99% of staff were attentive, friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

Fabulous design for a mega ship. Central Park was classy. Boardwalk was adorable. The Promenade was cool with a lot of areas to sit and people-watch and the "fun zone" for kids had a lot of activities.

Cabin / Stateroom

This was a balcony cabin with a large balcony. They should have loungers versus a table and 2 chairs. There was so much room and I prefer to lay out on a lounger like other ships (e.g. HAL).

Ship tip

As soon as you are able, reserve for dinners and shows to get in!

The tour guide only bragged about her looks. Drove us by the condo she sold for $1.8M and by her new condo that she bought for $3.8M! Very tacky! The tour was so-so. I am sure there is a lot to see but perhaps she did not tell the story well enough.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

The people were fabulous. Reserved a cabana/shell -- great idea!! It was so hot -- glad for the shade. The water was not the best. Part of the beach had rocks and some had less. BBQ was great.
