Review summary

This is a "value" level cruise experience and if you can tolerate thousands of people, you will be fine. I highly recommend upgrading to a suite, so you can have expedited boarding, access to the Concierge Club/Suite Lounge for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres as well as the Coastal Kitchen for private dining (breakfast, lunch and dinner).

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Port Everglades staff at Terminal 18 were quite pushy and nasty, yet once we were inside the RCCL employees were very professional and helpful.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Specialty Restaurants are really good, especially 150 Central Park. The Chop House and Giovanni's Table. Dined at the Coastal Kitchen everyday for breakfast and lunch; dinner 4 of the 7 nights - service levels, food and staff were wonderful.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Tip: Go to the fitness center anytime after 2:00 PM, it's almost empty. Note: Every pool is small and really crowded - each one looked liked "people soup"

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Stage shows (Blue Planet & Mamma Mia) - production and talent was outstanding. Comedy show with Nery Saenz - awesome!

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

4 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Positive - Suite was large, lots of storage and bathroom was very spacious. Drawback - Door hinges were losing screws as we sailed; this suite is "tired" - way overdue for an update and maintenance.

Ship tip

Be the last passengers off the ship at 9:30 AM - no lines!

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida Did not visit port

We live in Ft Lauderdale

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island) Did not visit port

Falmouth, Jamaica

1 out of 5
Falmouth is a dump, it's a horrible location once you walk beyond the small ports perimeter. No excursion taken as we have been to Jamaica several times before.

Cozumel, Mexico

3 out of 5
Typical tourist trap port. No excursion

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We were probably the last passengers off the ship - there were no lines and so easy!

I think this is a fake review. No cruises listed, no pictures, only complaints. Your first complaint was the tip off. I have cruised out of Port Everglades multiple times and never had any problems. Always organized and friendly.

Why did you take a cruise if you weren't going to try and enjoy it. Allure is amazing.

It definitely sounds like cruising is not for you and probably not Travel at all since you did not seem to enjoy much of anything.

You are so miserable! Why do you even cruise? Such a downer of a review.
