Traveling with family most of the time we started with Carnival, Norwegian and have since moved on to Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Our experience overall has been really spectacular, incredible and appreciated.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Embarkation was pretty effortless since we had pre boarded online. However, the port officers checking us in only had printed sheets with names to verify passengers. It would have been a more efficient to have iPads or terminals for checking passengers in as they enter the building
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Every place we dined was special and had its own ambience. We had breakfast in the Windjammer where we became friends with Ravish, Jagoo, Soe, Kadek and Virginia. We would come in for breakfast and they actually set our table up with coffee, water and utensils. They went over and beyond with their service. Having dinner in the main dining room we had the pleasure of meeting Sia (3rd floor), and Ricardo (4th floor) and Baptiste (5th floor)There was one other gentleman that worked with Baptiste serving the drinks but I lost his name. I mention this because everyone of them were incredible to our family of 8.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We were mostly in the pools in Solarium but were extremely pleased with the salt water pool as well. We played table tennis, Volleyball, Pickleball and soccer. A few of us also did spinning classes and ran the track just to burn away the food we couldn't stop eating.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The shows and entertainment were some of the best we've seen on any of the other ships we've been on. I gave 4 stars only because the Ice show was cancelled because of technical difficulty. Although it was rescheduled for the last day we had already planned out our time due to the many available events onboard. Sad we missed that one.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone went above and beyond their duties to accommodate us. I am blown away they do this seven days a week nonstop and STILL keep a smile.Special shout out to the service staff onboard:

Ship Quality
5 out of 5
We have now been spoiled by Royal Caribbean and may no longer go on smaller ships. We thought we had it all on our previous cruise (Ovation of the Seas) but were totally taken aback by Allure of the Seas. Luckily we took advantage of the cruise discount and have booked Oasis of the Seas for next year.
Although at first overwhelming it took me only a day to get my bearings and know my way around the ship. The RC app had a lot to do with that and need to mention that here as well
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Sam the man went above and beyond his own area as he was able to set up arrangements for my mother in laws room service who was one deck below us. Sam also checked on us and made sure we did not miss anything. He was on point in everything he did.
Ship tip
I don't know if I should put this out there but at times the main bars get pretty busy and the bar tenders do their best to keep up with demand. However there are some bars onboard that don't get a lot of traffic and are my secret areas for avoiding the crowds. That's all I'm saying. If you want to know where they are then get to know the ships layout and hotspots...CHEERS
This was a really great port even though at first I thought it a little disappointing since I didn't really get to see real Haiti and experience the culture of the people. I soon changed my feelings after enjoying aqua & rollercoaster package. My entire family enjoyed the rollercoaster and scenery, the fun time on the beach and finally lunch buffet.
We also enjoyed Falmouth and had booked and off ship excursion to the blue hole. That was the best part of this port. The only issue was it took over an hour drive from the ship to get to the Blue Hole. We did get to see culture and enjoy the people and try out their native foods. The Blue Hole was truly a great experience however if you don't swim I don't recommend you do this since you have to dive from small jumps into the rivers and water falls. Best experience though
We did the ATV & Beach excursion from the ship and were very please with ATVing in Cozumel and again meeting the locals and experiencing a little bit of their culture and of course sampling their tequila.
This couldn't have been any smoother for us. We opted to take our luggage with us off the ship and did not have to wait in line to disembark. This seems to be a pattern with Royal Caribbean as we have experienced this in previous cruises. I haven't decided if that's good or bad. Good that the process is so effortless or bad that they wanted us or the ship so fast....LOL Overall I absolutely rate the entire cruise 5 Star Plus. Looking forward to next years great adventure....
I agree with the comment about a positive review. Too many reviews seem to be looking for something to complain about. Yes levels of service, and quality of food help to enhance the experience, as does a smooth embarkation, but YOU make or break the experience with your own attitude.
This is the most positive review I have ever read on this app, thank you for being honest and so kind hearted! I sail out Sunday and this made me more excited ! Thank you xoxo
