Great cruise, but would prefer a smaller ship.

Review summary

Although the ship had lots to offer, it was too large for me. Mealtimes were especially busy and hectic, not relaxing in the bigger restaurants. If I cruise again it will be a much smaller ship. If you have problems walking it may be a problem because of the size of the ship.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. My concern for these people is the amount of hours they work. Some appeared to be tired.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
I know this ship is due to go into dry dock in March for upgrades. It is definitely needed. The rugs were quite warn and dingy. One of the bathrooms near the main dining area was not very clean the two times I went in there.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was surprisingly bigger than I thought it would be. We were very comfortable in our room. The only complaint I had was that the towels were ratty on the edges. They need new towels for their guests.

Ship tip

We loved the solarium for breakfast. It is such a calming atmosphere and then we would hop into the hot tubs. We relaxed in the solarium area until lunch. By then it was getting busy. Stay away from the Windjammer. It is very crowded and several times we had a problem finding a table for our group. I found it very hectic and preferred the smaller restaurants.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

Loved Labadee. Lunch time was crazy. We were in line for at least a half hour. I would suggest eating lunch on the ship before or after you go to the island. We spoke to someone who stayed on the ship until after lunch and they said it was less crowded and better food.
