Review summary

It was nice our first with RC and the biggest ship we have been on. I’m not a big ship fan but this was a very good experience and we would think about doing this ship again.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Fast and easy we had to show up early as our hotel only had 2 shuttles to port, but we practically walked right through

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dinning food was either very good or just okay nothing fabulous. Sabor was fantastic service was very good. Samba food and service was good. Chops food was okay service a little slow. 150 everything from drinks to desert was fantastic if we had gone on first night we might have gone there every night!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Pool volleyball every day was nice. Don’t have to wait long to do body boarding once you sign waver you get a wrist band and can go all day if you want. Gym is huge with a lot of equipment and has long opening hours. Thermal spa is small with only 4 heated chairs and couple of steam rooms

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Lots of shows but theater gets very cold we left halfway because we were freezing. Aqua theater is nice but need better chairs. Comedy shows book fast so get your reservations as early as possible

Children's Programs

Did not travel with children

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Sometimes service was above and beyond and others times you couldn’t get any service but overall was good.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It’s a large ship but there are so many activities all over so it doesn’t seem as crowded because people are in so many different places. They have three pools 2 large hot tubs and couple regular size ones outside and a large kid park with plenty of chairs to use, and a pool and hot tubs in adult only section.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
There was enough storage to put everything away that we brought and even a small cabinet that put gifts we bought to take back home. Had enough room that you didn’t feel like you had to trip over each other to get to other side. Was clean only downfall is not bath products to use so make sure to bring enough. Staff was friendly and room was kept clean.

Ship tip

Have at least one meal at 150!!

Ports of call

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

5 out of 5
This is one of our favorite places to visit. We did the Maho airplane tour. My husband got the lobster (very expensive but worth the price)

San Juan, Puerto Rico

4 out of 5
We did not do an excursion just walked around and did a little shopping. We wanted to try to eat at a local place but the one on the map was no longer there, tried to eat at senor frogs but very limited menu.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

3 out of 5
It was nice for a beach day but would have liked to be able to see the island a little more. We got a cabana and for the price it was not worth it. The service was slow and the one question that we asked he never got back to us about.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Was again smooth took no time at all to get off and find luggage
