As this was my first cruise, it was exciting. I was especially excited about just being on the ship. Very impressive and as a Navy Veteran was great to be at sea once again. For such a large ship, it was kept clean constantly. Can't control slobs onboard but the crew dealt with it professionally. FANTASTIC!

Everything was great. Didn't know what to expect as this was my first cruise but was pleasantly surprised at the spacious cabin. Room attendant was very professional and friendly. Thank you!
Ship tip
Be open about everything, including crowds. This cruise was almost 6,400 people. It was Spring break. I don't mind the crowds but I heard a lot of comments of it being too crowded. It didn't bother me. Just try to relax and enjoy yourself.
Pier side was ok. Didn't do any excursion but set out on own. Big mistake. You felt like a target. Couldn't go anywhere without being constantly bombarded with locals. If I go back, it will be on an excursion or just stay on the ship.
Excellent. I took into account there would be lots of people doing the same thing but it was really only about 20-30 minutes through the whole process. Again, Royal has this down to science.
A great cruise experience on the Allure sets the bar high for the next one. Debbie and I cruised in October and we are going back in 25 days.
Skakey: you are right: next cruise will be another ship-- Royal Caribbean, of course.

You booked the Allure again? Expand your voyages to other ships. You won't be disappointed. Grest you had a good experience for a first cruise. We were on the Allure last November for thanksgiving and to my surprise it was never crowded.
