Review summary

Wonderful Cruise with family. Loved the ship all all of her amenities, but wasn't wowed as before. May try another cruise line next time.

Embarkation

Smooth sailing. We anticipated long lines, but were pleasantly surprised that they had all parts oiled like a well maintained machine so no long waits at all!!!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We only partook of thoe ameniteis that came with our cruise package. Dining was so superb in the main dining room, there was no need to go elswhere.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The shows and other activities were excellent as we remembered in the past. Although the ship had over 6,000 people onboard, it never seemed over crowded.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The best shows!!!! All of the venue were perfect except for the comedy shows which was very small. Riddim Wave, which were heard on a previous cruise was good and we looked forward to hearing them again.

Children's Programs

We had no little ones. Our children are grown.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Most of the staff was awesome. Always greeted you upon passing, etc. and our Dining Staff was utterly amazing. Our room attendant was way too busy. We didnt' get the opportunity to meet him until day 3, but he always left the stateroom neat as a pin! He idn't have much time for chit-chat. What was really disturbing was the attitude of some of the staff on board. We would walk by and overhear them complaining about their jobs. They made no attempt to stop or correct their actions in our presence. Other crew members were not as friendly or pleasant. Not at all the 10 star experience we had on Navigator of the seas.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was spacious and allowed us to watch the Aqua theatre performances from our balcony. When we asked for our balcony glass to be cleaned it was done quicly which helped us to sit at our balcony table and watch everything clearly.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida Did not visit port

Time restraints

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

We aren't really beach people, but it was very nice. Lots of seating. We didn't know we had another side, the by area, we could have gone to unitl at the end before we left to go back to the ship. We liked that RCI provided lunch.

Falmouth, Jamaica

We had been here before so we already had contacts for excursions. This was wonderful.

Disembarkation

Long, slow lines, but I don't know how this could be simplified any more with so many on ship.
