Review summary

We did not get the beverage package, which we should have, but it was very expensive, as were the drinks. We also were supposed to get a spa treatment complimentary, which the spa had no record of, so I had to pay for it. I felt like the cruise lines got very creative in ways to separate us from our money.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
There was quite a long line, but it moved.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food in the dining rooms was mediocre at best. Buffets were very crowded.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The ship's pools were VERY crowded. The ship was down a pool and every pool had people shoulder to shoulder.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The entertainment was good.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service was excellent in the dining room and restaurants. Our cabin steward was exceptional

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The layout was good and even though the ship was very large, it was easy to figure out.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Of course it was very small, but we made it work. My husband complained about not being able to smoke on the balcony, but truly, he shouldn't be smoking at all!

Ship tip

Make it more "all-inclusive." Our last vacation was to an all-inclusive resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. It was wonderful to have everything included. I felt like we were nickel and dimed the entire cruise and very little but the mediocre meals were included.

Ports of call

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Beautiful spot.

Falmouth, Jamaica

3 out of 5
Part of the problem was it was very rainy.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
We had a very nice time here. We took a snorkeling excursion.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
This is the first cruise that I have gone on that we were able to leave as soon as the ship docked, if we could carry our luggage ourselves. It was one of the best things about the cruise.

Always take your perks with you it is the fault of the ta not royal Caribbean if they have no record of it

If the spa service was a ta perk, it's your ta's responsibility to make sure it's on your account. I always take a print out and if it's not showing I take it to guest services and they contact the ta and add it on without an issue
