Review summary

Ship oriented for family trips, but I missed the old RCCL charm. Dinning used to be a better experience in the main dining room, now is too ordinary. The ship activities boulevard, central park just great!

Embarkation

Beautiful ship and fun, excellent activities, but service and food is not the same as it used to be with this cruise line years ago. The swimming pool is too crowded, even the adult one.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
We don't eat meat, only fish, dairy and vegetables, the main dinning room lack of options for us.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Waiters lack training in main dinning room. Also guess services are very dismissive. We had an issue (RCCL fault) with our dining arrangements, and I had to convinced guess services to assist. Everything else great

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great, but small issue first day, we did not get clean sheets when first arrived (disturbing). That was quickly address and no more issues the rest of the days.

Ship tip

Don't bother with main dinning room set times. Maybe opt better for dine at your own time or one of the specialties restaurants. WE enjoyed the tapas restaurant (only one we tried). For breakfast , the coffee shop on Central Park was good.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

The ship is the destination. We enjoyed Labadee activities and Cozumel, the one in Jamaica not.

The quality of food has gone down on all cruise lines I think it's to hold down there prices or to get you to go to the specialty restaurants
