Review summary

I had my fist cruise with Allure of the Seas. Everything is wonderful! I only hope that we can stay on the islands for a longer time. I really love the food on the ship! It will be perfect if there is some 24h portion in the 16th floor buffet.

I hope the 16th floor buffet can have a portion of the food (chips, fruits, etc.) that run 24h.

Ship tip

For the dinner in the main dinning hall, the server would be friendly to give you extra main course/dessert/starter. I ordered two royal chocolate cakes! They are my favorite!!!

I am happy you posted this for your first cruise.  My wife and I have been concerned that the Oasis Class pace, the need to schedule entertainment in advance, lines at the WindJammer, etc., would be off putting to a first time cruiser, so we have introduced new cruisers on slightly smaller ships very successfully. Your review helps add the option of Oasis Class for both experienced and new cruisers to our recommendations, thank you:-)

Freedom class Cafe Promenade is 24x7, except during the lifeboat drill. I suspect Cafe Promenade is 24x7 on any RCCL Class that has it.  If it does close for cleaning, I believe Sorrento's covers that time as the alternative, but not quite 24x7, light fare option.

On Radiance Class there is similar service from their light fare option in the Solarium area, I believe it is a light and healthy eating option for adults during the day, but definitely a place for late night and early morning snacks.  My better half could confirm the healthy part, and I can confirm the late night snacks:-).
