Review summary

the ship is beautiful, the food was very good, and ship was very clean and the staff was very attentive.  My only issue is the ship is entirely to small for the amount of people. The swimming pools are two small for 6,128 passengers. There were lines everywhere and the ship needs another bank of elevators midship or cut the amount of passenger. That , I know will never happen,. Its all about the bottom line.  I think RCCL now nickel and dimes you two. Charges for everything.  Again it was nice, but I am going back to CUNARD and HOLLAND AMERICA.

Ship tip

explore the ship while in port. Most of the passengers disembark and you have this beautiful ship to yourself. No lines at all.

My wife was in a wheelchair and we didn't wait that long for an elevator just the first day they were a little crowded but not all as bad as you say I will admit there were a few rude people onboard but you are going to find that anywhere

Not too many businesses ignore the bottom line, so that should not be a surprise, but if RCCL is not for you you can vote with your feet and post your cruise survey response on the RCCL website.  Please consider sharing your total costs on your upcoming Cunard or HAL cruise and comparing that to the total cost what you describe as more of an ala carte pricing on RCCL.  Thank you.

Really?! You had very bad luck. My experience was absolutely the oposite. So good, that I'm taking the same ship again.

I was expecting some disappointment last week when we were on Allure...I experienced none. I ate like the fat guy I am and thanks to the stairs and all of the walking I did not gain a pound!

That's good to know about elevators. That's always one of our problems especially the first day. He has a scooter and I gave two hip replacements that don't always work the best so stairs are not an option. You wait for a elevator and then ten people that can easily walk up stairs get on and leave you waiting and waiting for elevator. Because they are faster to get on then my 81 year old boyfriend and I. It's really bad when it fills with teens.

I didn't spend a dime and had a great time. Elevators were never really a issue to me. No worse than a hotel.

Taking the stairs (as able) can help keep the cruise pounds down. So, what did you get charged for? There are so many included options that I hardly spent anything.

No waiting for the stairs!

The stairwells were empty. I spent my line time chatting people up. And I didn't overpay. I saw someone on here ripping HAL for nickeling and diming.....
